What is a parent to do. Children have left the nest
Life decisions have made them blue
Parenting wants to repair the mess Wake them up, make their bed,
get them dressed
Our desire to not see them suffer, Is stronger than we would like to admit
But we can no longer be their personal buffer, even when they raise arms and throw a fit
Our child is ours for a while, to nurture, teach and guide
But when they are grown, and we take over, We throw God aside
Life lessons are theirs to learn, we have taught them the way they should go
It is time to rest and adjourn, move back, let God...watch them grow

Parenting requires Trust In Me (Jesus), Your maker, partner and friend
Much time is required positioned , Seeking My face in Their time of Need
You measure your child as men would
Based on stature, appearance or height
But Only I can see the Heart,
its weakness and its might.
Don’t hinder my handy-work
Don’t be Me for them
I alone know their path
I need to be their best friend
Do you know the number of hairs on their head?
Can you search their heart,
Or their mind test?
What moment are they the weakest
or strongest, and at their best?
As you are a trophy of my Grace
They too will be soon
You do not order their footsteps
Or guide them through the darkness
When there is no light from star or moon
I alone AM their Savior and King
I have created you as I have created them
My child Redeemed.
Everyone in your life is precious to Me
As they are precious to you
Be at Peace in knowing this
I will find them as I also found you
